New Installations

Andersons Drainage Solutions Ltd can install new drainage should your existing drainage fail.

As well as drain repair, we can carry out new drainage installations. Whether you are re-routing a drain from a building project or just installing a new drain we have the complete knowledge to meet your requirements. We can install new inspection chambers, and relay and renew drainage to most specifications.

Some reasons why new drainage is required:
  • New bathrooms or en-suites are being installed so new drainage to the existing mains or sewage system is required.
  • Property extensions, new kitchens or utility rooms etc.
  • Property extensions where the existing drainage is in the location of the proposed build.

Mains Drainage

Andersons Drainage Solutions Ltd can carry out sewer connections. This can be for a new build property and its initial connection to the main sewer, or an existing property converting from septic tank / treatment plant / private drainage system to mains. There are two methods of connection which can be either via a junction connection or an inspection chamber connection.

We can offer help with getting a permit from the local council and any necessary paperwork to obtain permission. We will arrange a relevant site meeting / inspection so a quotation can be given and to ascertain whether connection is possible.

On some occasions a small pumping station is necessary to pump the waste into the main sewer.

We hold all Confined Space Entry certificates which are required for entering or working on inspection chambers.

Drain Relining

Andersons Drainage Solutions Ltd can carry out the re lining technique to avoid the expense and disruption of digging up drains. Root intrusion, or ground movement can be a cause of cracks, fractures, displaced joints etc. inside the drainage

This involves the ‘insitu manufacture’ of a secondary fibre reinforced ‘pipe within a pipe’. The strength of the inner pipe is comparable to that of the existing pipe.

Blocked Drains

Blocked drains can be problematic for any household or commercial property! With our expertise and equipment we can resolve the problem and get your home or business running smoothly again.

Common drainage problems are caused by old pipe work that can often crack and in worst case scenarios collapse causing no drainage at all. Fibrous tree roots are also a common problem and can often grow into drainage causing toilet tissue to catch on any damaged sections of pipe, eventually causing a complete blockage. Our experienced engineers can provide free quotations to rectify the problem.

Services Offered:

CCTV Drain Survey

Inspecting the condition of drains, sewers and pipelines, CCTV drainage surveying has always been an important part of our business. Many sites, prior to build or refurbishment, often require information on the condition of the drainage to ascertain any problems beforehand.

We provide a fast and effective service for the inspection of most types of pipes and sewers using the latest equipment. Reports and data from these surveys are provided to our clients in a clear and concise written report and images.

Our CCTV surveyors are qualified to ensure consistency and reliability of the information supplied to our customers.

Typically we will be called in to carry out a condition survey before and after construction or to trace and provide a report on a problem drain or sewer.

Common Causes for CCTV Cameras Surveys

1. Extensions To Property
  • Some customers having new building work done often are asked by water authorities to provide a survey of the existing drainage. Andersons Waste Management Ltd will provide on completion a report to submit to companies on the condition of the internal drainage.
2. Fractured / Cracked Drainage Pipes
  • Pressure from above, such as a heavy vehicle driving over the ground, can cause cracks and fractures in your drainage pipes. If these are left untreated, they can leak contents into soil, which could result in further damage to the pipe or even subsidence.
3. Collapsed / Broken Drains
  • Can be caused by the drains being badly built in the first place or a variety of other reasons. If left, not only are blockages likely, but subsidence and environmental damage are possible.
4. Tree Roots / Root Intrusion / Ingression In Drainage
  • Roots seek out moisture so they can find their way through existing faults into the drains. Once the tree roots have entered the drain, other material will get caught in them, making blockages far more likely and frequent.
